Portfolio Tracking and Management Online Tool
I just discovered this website a few days ago having listened to WSJ podcast. This website is reported to still be in beta though I saw nothing mentioned about beta online.
I did notice a couple of wacky stuff like some mutual funds not having closing price available and the columns of data are at times out of alignment. With that being said I still found it a good online investment resource.
Much better portfolio tracking tool than usually what you find on other financial websites.
It ties your personal brokerage accounts such as Fidelity, Schwab, e-trade, etc and combines them into one portfolio management system.
It reports dividends, interest and fees and compares your portfolio performance to benchmark indices. News is reported from 500 sources updated throughout the day.
You also have at your fingertip fundamental stats such as P/E ratio, dividends yields, revenue growth, roa, roe, net margins across your entire portfolio.
Performance tab you can track the usual price per share, quantity and cost basis which is automatically generated by your brokerage statement.
Summary tab displays in addition to the usual, charts, a 52 week price range depicted in a chart type, PE and headlines. You also can track a watch list if you like in addition to your current positions.
Another useful tool are tabs along the top which allow you to do some research on Companies, Concepts, Commodities, ETF & Indices, Global Markets and Money School which is an educational section.
Wikinvest.com is a worthwhile investment tool you may wish to take a look at. Oh, almost forgot and best of all it’s free.
