Financial Wellness Coach

You might be asking what all this has to do with financial planning? The answer is simple, everything! When designing a financial plan, an important step is to write down your goals; being as specific as you can. This is fundamental to being successful in life, defining ones goals and reviewing those goals often, if not daily. 

Self-esteem and happiness goes hand-in-hand. It's a great balance in life when both are in sync. Happiness has many different meanings; as different as each individual. The same applies to creating a financial plan; it should be individualized to meet specific goals and family needs. Self esteem is about feeling good about one self and is an important step in finding happiness.

It's difficult to achieve wealth and a comfortable life if you are constantly in a state of stress and/or anxiety. Staying focused is a challenge when you are at odds. There are numerous techniques one may try to face these challenges.


This all leads me to a story which began when I was in high school. I remember driving to school and listening to Earl Nightingale on the radio talking about a variety of motivational topics including "Think and Grow Rich " by Napoleon Hill. At the time I was unaware that it was about a road map to wealth and prosperity. It took many years before the light bulb in my head went on. Later on in my mid-thirties I discovered a relaxation technique taught by Dr Arnold Lazarus which to this day I still use from time to time when life has gotten difficult. More recently I discovered audio clips from Dr Patrick Porter covering a wide range of topics.

It is considered a life-long process of growing and enhancing the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being of an individual. Do you possess the following traits?:
